“To say we ate well would be an understatement … the sort of dishes I find myself dreaming about long after the last petit four has disappeared” - Mercy Breheny, The Scotsman (November 2011)
A warm welcome awaits you at Barley Bree, a 4 star restaurant with rooms, run by chef Fabrice Bouteloup with his wife Alison. Formerly a roadside inn, the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, offering quality local and seasonal food, cooked with care and passion. Our friendly and attentive staff help make your stay memorable. Our rooms are cosy and comfortable, with en-suite facilities. You can spend your days exploring and enjoy the woods and walks of Highland Perthshire, and return for good food and wine by the blazing log fire.
We have a couple of new special offers lined up and look out for more over the next few weeks. Fabrice has spent the last few months having his kitchen redesigned and trying to choose a new stove (very exciting for him) so we will have to close for a few days for the refit, but we will try to keep the website updated with any changes to our opening times. In the meantime we hope to see you soon.
Please support Barley Bree by nominating us for any of the following awards (click on logos to nominate) :
